Why do we call ourselves LG’s Prime Steakhouse? Quite simply because PRIME is the best by any standard and is the USDA’s highest designation for beef. PRIME steaks have the necessary marbling, that imparts a unique combination of taste and texture, which defines the ultimate steak-eating experience.

LG’s PRIME Steakhouse in Palm Desert, California was established in 1991 by the husband and wife team of Leon and Gail Greenberg. LG’s now offers nine different USDA PRIME ONLY sizzling steaks, and boasts a rare “on premises” dry-age facility for its “Jewel in the Crown”, a 24 oz. Porterhouse for one and an even bigger 30 oz. Porterhouse named “The Gold Strike 49er”.

In addition, LG’s features formula-fed rack of lamb, a generous cut of Prime Rib, and other non-steak entrees including Fresh Fish of the Day, a Colossal Poupon Lobster Tail, King Crab Legs, and a Whole Oven-roasted Chicken Breast.
