Burt
and Jacks Steakhouse – Ft. Lauderdale
Burt & Jacks Steakhouse of Ft. Lauderdale is the award winning collaboration
of actor/director Burt Reynolds and restaurateur Jack Jackson. After meeting during
the filming of the movie "Stick" in 1983, they decided to join their
talents and opened Burt & Jacks in May of 1984. Burt & Jacks is a traditional
northeastern styled steakhouse. The menu consists of USDA Prime steaks, chops,
and seafood featuring jumbo live Maine lobsters. The
Mediterranean styled villa is surrounded by water on the three sides. This panorama
offers a majestic view of cruise ships, mega yachts, military vessels, and commercial
ships from all over the world. Burt & Jacks is a local’s favorite especially
when they want to "show off" Fort Lauderdale to guests.
