Visiting The Chicago Chop House
Is Like Visiting Chicago’s Colorful Past

Located in an immaculately restored, century-old Victorian brownstone in the River North neighborhood. More than 1400 historical photos depict the story of when meat-packers, politicians and gangsters vied for control.

The true taste of Chicago, The Chicago Chop House was founded by Henry Norton in November 1986 with Executive chef, William Farrahi leading the culinary charge, This beloved oasis in a bustling city, serves an all USDA Prime menu which includes awe-inspiring 64-ounce porterhouses, 16- and 24-ounce New York strips, and 24-ounce prime ribs all served charred and bursting with prime-aged flavor. The Chicago Chop House is also one of the only restaurants in Chicagoland to serve Mishima cuts, a unique and succulent beef known for its delicate flavor and tenderness.

The Chicago Chop house offers an award winning international wine list featuring over 650 selections, including over 30 wines by the glass. Their wine list has been the proud recipient of the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence 1994 through 2003, and has earned the Best of Award of Excellence from 2004 to current.

A handsomely appointed private dining room is available for parties of 10 to 80 guests and is perfectly suited for business meetings, company functions and special personal celebrations.

Welcome to one of the best, top-rated steakhouses in Chicago.
