1. Add ingredients from Group 1 to a large sauce pan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat.
2. In a separate bowl, mix Group2 ingredients until there are no lumps.
3. Add Group 2 to the heated sauce pan and return to a boil. When the glaze if thick enough to coat the back of a spoon, remove from heat.
4. Boil carrots until fork tender. Drain well.
5. Add carrots to glaze and soak at low temperature for 5 to 10 minutes.
6. Pour excess glaze over carrots. Serve one carrot per person.
